Between a Rock and a Hard Place?
Reinventure Retreats Will Help You Find the Right Path For You
- Are you confused about your career direction?
- Would you like to know yourself better so you can make more informed career decisions?
- Are you applying for jobs in a million directions without any focus?
- Have you taken some assessments but are not able to come up with ideas for your reinvention?
If any of these scenarios resonate for you, then you might benefit from our upcoming Reinventure Retreat. The goal of this one-day retreat/workshop is to help you gain clarity on the career parameters you should consider to make better career choices for the future.
During the retreat, you will work on self-reflection exercises, alone and in teams, to help you better understand your lifelong career interests, your motivated skills, your behavioral style, and the rewards you want to achieve from your work. At the end of the retreat, we will brainstorm as a group to discover career options that will fit your unique needs.
Retreat Purpose:
The purpose of this retreat is to help create a clear compelling vision for your career and life. Through a series of individual and group self-discovery exercises, you will help yourself uncover what gives meaning to your life and career. You will take stock of where you have been, regroup, and look closely at where you want to go. This will be done in a safe and supportive environment away from your busy professional life.
Who Should Attend:
You should consider attending this retreat, if you:
- Have explored some of your strengths and passions, but are still "stuck"
- Have done some exercises in books and still don't know what you want to do
- Have done some exercises in books and do not know how to translate the results into "something concrete" with which you can move forward
- Feel like you are drifting and want to step back and create a fresh vision for your career and life
- Feel like you have not been reaching your potential
You will learn:
- The Aspire! model of career reinvention and the key barriers to reinvention
- To be more patient with yourself as you go through the reinvention process and look at this reinvention more positively
- What is important to you at this juncture and examine patterns that might be getting in your way of moving forward
- How to turn this new information about yourself into concrete career choices you can investigate
- To create an enthusiastic work/life vision for the future
- How to move forward after the retreat and what steps to take
Outcomes and Deliverables for Reinventure Retreats:
The self-reflection exercises you engage in during the retreat will help you learn more about yourself (your personality, interests, the rewards you want from work etc.). At the end of the retreat, you will have the opportunity to get input from a variety of people with diverse backgrounds.
At the end of this retreat, you will walk away with a list of potential career options that you can explore and research to determine if they are a good fit for you. Please do not expect that at the end of the retreat and eight hours of work together that you will have "the" answer or be in a new career.
You will also be given numerous resources you can use after the retreat to research the career options that interest you. Finally, at the end of the retreat, you will work on an action plan for your next steps.
Randi's approach is perceptive, professional, and efficient. Her bias towards action and results gets participants to move past roadblocks. Her years of training and experience show in the quality of this retreat. I strongly recommend it for anyone in career or life transition.

Retreat FAQ:
What is the difference between the Reinventure Retreat and regular one-on-one coaching?
During the retreat, Randi Bussin will guide you as a group to work on your self-reflection exercises alone and with a "buddy." There also will be group debriefs on the exercises. You will not be working individually on a one-on-one basis with Randi Bussin. If individualized attention and coaching is desired, the one-on-one format is suggested.
Is coaching available after the retreat? If so, at what cost?
Coaching with Randi Bussin is available after the retreat and comes in two options. Coaching Packages are sold in a bundle of three or five sessions. You may purchase these options below.
If you do decide to purchase a post-retreat coaching package, please e-mail Randi at rbussin@aspireforsuccess.com and let her know you have placed your order.
What if I have done some assessments already?
If you have completed some assessment work already, feel free to bring your assessments to the retreat and discuss the materials with your "buddy." If you opt for the post-retreat coaching packages, then you can discuss with Randi Bussin how to best make use of these materials.
