I have been looking for a job for a year or more. In the interviews that I get, they tell me and my recriters that I'm over-qualified for the jobs in this area of Texas, Coastal Bend Corpus Christi.

I am in good health and over 50. I have massaged my resume down to just covering the basic requirements. When I get to the interview the propective employer will say "Your too heavy duty" or this job would below your capabilites. Houston, Texas is 200 miles away, San Antonio, Texas is 140 miles away.

The lady at Texas Worksource said, you people need to go North, out this area. But, my family has been here for four generations.

Do you have any suggestions.

This question is very easy to ask but difficult to answer no one can give the exact ans for this and different people have their own different thoughts.I like this site as it user friendly and knowledgeable and very easy to understand.
